Responsible for the overall delivery of the project. Requires excellent communication with the Design Lead and Team, Subcontractors, and without doubt the Client.

Current priority is organising and coordinating both internal and external resources to attend site surveys and MSVs, ensuring all requirements are captured, cancelations and re-arrangements logged and cascaded in a timely and efficient manner. Following this, a large part of my role is to organise after MSV site visits for external contractors to complete the relevant investigations (roofscans, trial digs, etc) as deemed necessary by the Designer after all the information from the MSV and previous drawings has been reviewed.

After swimming for most of my life, taking a lifeguarding course was the obvious next step. I am responsible for all pool users safety and wellbeing, this includes those in the sports hall and external facilities. Being proactive is key as only reacting to situations is too late.In addition to my NPLQ, I have completed the STA Swimming Pool Water Treatment Course.

This was my opportunity to gain experience of being successful in a thriving global organisation during a placement year alongside continuing related academic studies. I was primarily providing support to the Organisational Development Manager, taking on any and all tasks to allow them to complete their priority tasks however as I developed so did my role in becoming crucial to the day-to-day operations of the company.

My first job and it definitely was character building to say the least. I loved my time working here as every function was different depending on the clientele who we were there to please. We accommodated all functions ranging from christenings, to birthdays, to weddings, and to funerals - with comedy club nights and corporate events dotted throughout.My biggest achievement during my time there was managing groups of waiting staff for venues up to 500 guests and being trusted to train new staff in the ways which I was praised for by both my manager and clients.

This job was only during the summer holidays however it was such a large part of my developing years and has added significant value to who I am as a person today.Having to provide a high quality of maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school buildings and grounds at such a young age, and the requirement of having a sound understanding of Health & Safety issues and knowledge of relevant legislation, this moulded me into the responsible and conscientious young adult I am today.Also being tasked with full department refurbishments; stripping walls, preparing the new surfaces, large scale painting, constructing furniture, rearranging furniture, the removal of decorating waste and old furniture, made the daunting task of buying a house and making it a home seem just like any other summer to me.
