Psychology consist of life, death and the journey that presents itself in the middle. I am a psychology students who attends Clark Atlanta University. I was born and raised in Fairfield County, CT and moved to Atlanta for school. I have been awarded the Deans List three out of the four semesters. I believe in paying it forward and dedicating myself to completing tasks exceptionally. I am passionate about psychology and obtaining new experiences that will contribute to both a company's and I success. I have been interested in psychology for as long as could define the study, both of my parents holding notable psychology degrees it's evident that they planted that seed amongst all their children. I believe in having genuine connections with people and promoting a healthy environment that allows for a growth mindset. I value constructive criticisms, as well as look forward to learning from others because every perspective has an advantage. A healthy and productive environment stimulates my motivated mind. My experience working as a junior instructor for STEM WaterBotics® starting in 2019 only fueled my passion for improving youth development as well as sparked my interest concerning STEM careers/opportunities for Black children, especially girls. Moving on temporarily from STEM, and introduced myself to the school system with Innovation Learning after school program in 2023. In this environment I thrived in a school setting, providing a curriculum based activities that stimulated the minds while also encouraging independence from students that displayed the maturity. My most recent experience being a lead teacher for Exceptional Youth Education Services (E.Y.E.S) required a combination of my acquired skills. Returning into a STEM, now STEAM program reminded me of my skills in child development and my desire for organization resulted in phenomenal classroom management. I currently participate with two internship organizations; Morehouse School of Medicine and L.O.V.E Lessons in which I am currently perfecting my research skills as well as my data collection/analyzation capabilities.
