I am a first-generation Latina American student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I aspire to implement concepts of entrepreneurship and sustainability into fashion communications and public relations. I have enjoyed working in event coordinating teams to curate fashion-oriented productions. At UNC-Chapel Hill I have coordinated several fashion shows for Xpressions magazine and pioneered The Sustainable Strut: a sustainable fashion show hosted by UNC Undergraduate Student Government’s Environmental Affairs branch.I am apart of the FashionMash cohort at UNC, a certificate program in fashion communication and marketing. Through this program i’ve explored various elements of production through the lenses of editorial, art direction and experiential marketing.I am eager to continue growing in the field of fashion with a concentration in sustainable development.
