As an enthusiastic digital content marketing professional, I always strive to find the true challenges customers face and deliver the solutions they need to improve their personal life and/or business operations. Throughout my career I have had the opportunity to work with organizations of all sizes, including volunteer-run nonprofits, boutique agencies, small start-ups, 100+ employee financial institutions, and global corporations. Not only has this experience taught me the importance of understanding your audience, but it has shown me the true challenges of communication and why reaching your target market requires persuasion, clarity, and continuous optimization of a tailored, results-driven marketing approach. As the Content Strategy & Development Manager (previously: Digital Marketing Specialist) at Black Box, I led the content marketing team and manage the marketing organizations efforts to build and maintain a consistent customer-centric approach across the Black Box social media, website presence, search engine optimization, pay-per-click advertising, and other digital marketing tactics. In my role as the Digital Content Marketing Manager for Certified Credit, I was challenged to find new ways to leverage digital marketing in an industry that traditionally relied on relationship building and in-person engagement to drive business. By leading change and encouraging marketing innovation, I helped the organization reach a wider, national audience through digital channels, such as social media, email marketing, and corporate communications. Outside of work, I have served on the Board of Directors for the nonprofit Pittsburgh Young Professionals (PYP) as the Public Relations Advisor. With the support of the Public Relations committee, I aided the organization in its commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining the future leaders of Pittsburgh by driving meaningful communication with Pittsburgh publications, thought leaders, and young professionals. I believe that a commitment to continuous education is key to professional development. That is why I have completed certifications in Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Inbound Marketing, Email Marketing, and Content Marking through Hubspot, and Twitter Marketing.
