I was managing the Parts Dept., while also assuring the links to other Depts. are efficient and proactive. Our Dept. works day to day on finding hard to find OEM parts for full restorations on high end classics, along with historic Motorsport vehicles. Included in my department, I was in charge of our Inventory Specialist and Delivery Driver. I have been working on a wide network of connections for Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, fabrication and racing vendors. My daily purchasing procedures included, receiving order forms, creating electronic PO’s through QuickBooks for the order, linking to the job and due dates- and of course I supervised that the procedures are being adapted by all Part Dept. team members. I also assured that the accounting aspect of the PO’s were correct, from the description, part number, quantity, price etc.,- along with some accounts receivables. I assisted our AP with reconciliations and bill closing questions, I also assisted our Job Closer, Business Manager, and Executive with a variety of tasks. There is no electronic software for inventory, and I was part of the development of a system that allowed different Depts. to view our inventory spreadsheet through Excel.

I began at Kragen Auto Parts as a Cashier, and on my first day, I asked one of the Assistant Managers, "What's a spark plug?". He then replied "Do you really want to know?" and began to draw the intake and exhaust valves, along with the spark plug, cylinder and piston- and then re drew them to show the 4 strokes. It was then, that I began to love the automotive puzzles. I then continued to progress my knowledge and climbed the later several times, until I became a Store Manager for the Mountain View location. I developed many skills in customer service, parts, management, payroll, internal cost efficiency, HR, union regulations, safety regulations, shipping and receiving, outsourcing, planogram/merchandising, inventory, loss prevention audits, training etc.

Assisted on the planning and delivering of lesson plans in the Language Lab (K-3rd). In charge of Homework Club, subjects including Math, History, Science, English, and Spanish. Assured the safety of the children at all time. This was a Temp job for half the school year.

Milpitas, Ca

First day was Black Friday as a temp for the day, was hired permanently after the shift. Helped customers find their searches and assisted on selecting “perfect” gifts for children with different interests. Maintained the sales floor and backroom organized and clean.
