I started to study in Medipol University hospital in January 2015 and still working in this institution. I started to perform DBS surgeries in Medicalpark Hospital on Jan 29, 2009 which made it possible to perform DBS Cases under Social Security system coverage. Our partnership with Medicalpark Hospital regretfully ended on Feb 9, 2015, due to the change of the legislation which underlined the obligation of performance of DBS cases only in University Hospitals. In this period, I performed 418 cases in Medicalpark hospital which consist of 301 new DBS cases and 117 neurostimulator replacements.

After coming back to Turkey I was recruited by VKF American Hospital and initiated performing Movement Disorders surgeries by utilizing true microelectrode recording and stimulation technique after few centers in USA and Canada. In terms of Movement disorders surgery, I performed more than 650 cases; majority of them were lesion surgeries.

Between 1983s and 1985s he performed his civil service in Gaziantep (TURKEY). He was rewarded with a letter of appreciation for his work during that period by the Provincial Authority.
