I am a certified Science and English Teacher. I currently teach 8th Grade Science, Biology I and Zoology. I am responsible for meeting all the academic needs of my students as well as making sure I adhere to the Oklahoma State Standards. I make all my lesson plans, curriculum and create labs and projects for all of my students. I am responsible for sourcing all the materials that I need for my classes. We use Canvas, Wengage and the whole Google suite of programs.

I have been running this business both as a side business and at times as my full time business. I stand at least one stallion, and have several brood-mares. I train the offspring of my breeding program and market and sell the horses. I am responsible for all aspects of the business to include accounts payable and receivable, locating and transporting feed supplies, animal health and welfare, maintenance, advertising and marketing, building and maintaining my website, customer service, contract labor personnel, related association and office paperwork, and anything else that comes up. While this is a very fun and fulfilling business, it does not consume all of my time and therefore I have usually run it as a side business to any other work that I have had. It is more than a hobby but it is not always a career.

Secondary Teacher for Clinton Public Schools in Clinton, Oklahoma. I hold Oklahoma Certification in English and Science. I taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade English and Honors English as well as Biology I and II and Zoology for students from 9-12 grade. I was responsible for creating and implementing lessons for my classes as well as adhering to all state standards. We used Canvas and I also maintained grades in the district implemented visibility platform Infinite Campus and work with parents and students to have clear channels of communication and mentorship as needed. I volunteered with the Mock Trial team and was the Head Middle School Volleyball Coach, Assistant High School Volleyball Coach, and an Assistant Track Coach. My multilingual skills were especially useful for non-English speaking students and exchange students.

Once assigned a section I was required to research and locate all mineral owners for that section, contact them and sign them to top leases for the oil and gas industry. I was also required to update all information in the “Plan” software used by the company. I reported progress and coordinated with other leasing agents whenever we had Mineral Owners with acreage in multiple sections. I had to be organized since I was working 10-20 sections at any given time. I had to meet with Mineral Owners and answer all questions as needed. I had to send out correct paperwork so attention to detail was required.

Secondary Educator in Science, Animal Science, Agriculture and Human Biology. Responsible for creating and implementing lessons for all my classes. Leader for my team and represented us on the Building Leadership Team. We discussed and made changes to policy and procedures for the school and district. Volleyball and track coach. As can be imagined, middle school does a great job of requiring an ability to work through real and perceived drama, chaos management, flexibility, and quick problem-solving skills.

Secondary Educator in Science and Spanish. I created my own lesson plans, and was responsible for all instructional material. Of course I was responsible for grading and mentoring students as needed. I also was an the assistant Track Coach, the Mock Trial Sponsor, and the Cheerleading Co-Sponsor as well as the Senior Class Co-Sponsor, House Sponsor and the Facilitator for the Rodeo Club and the International Club during my time at St. Mary's.

 I was responsible for a team of 25 logistics personnel who composed the Event Management team who operated 24/7/365. I developed the processes we used and developed a team that could provide services unique to the industry. We served 13 accounts in third party logistics and were responsible for finding and resolving all in-transit issues for our clients as well as access to same time and near to same time data on pickup and delivery information. I handled all issues that could not be resolved easily by my team. I interacted with company personnel, client personnel and contracted carrier personnel to resolve issues and get our clients' freight delivered on time above contracted requirements. I also developed reporting techniques and compiled statistical analysis for company, client and contractor use. I trained international and domestic users on Ryder proprietary software for Ryder personnel, clients and contracted agencies. I helped with sales presentations for potential clients. I assisted with setting up services for new clients. I was often used in problem solving teams for issues that came up for new and existing clients. I was part of the team that provided tours of our facility and processes for existing and potential clients.

I was responsible for obtaining clients who needed highly qualified personnel in the biotech field and then finding talented and capable prospective employees for those positions. I enjoyed the work but left due to a hostile work environment.

For the first semester I was there I worked as a substitute teacher and then I was the 9th through 12th grade English Teacher for the rest of the three years that I was in Coleman for the Cooperative Alternative Program School. I was responsible for developing course materials, lesson plans, grading papers, working with special education requirements, integrating gifted and talented needs and general teaching responsibilities for the entire English Program for the Alternative High School. Students came from five different school districts and for multiple reasons were not able to participate in or graduate from a standard school environment. Our charter was to meet the state educational standards in an alternative environment so that students could either catch up and return to a standard program or to graduate from ours. Many of the students were extremely challenging but this job was very gratifying.

I started in ticket sales but quickly took over the department when the previous director quit. I was responsible for all aspects of ticketing to include corporate sales, group ticketing, advanced sales, season ticketing, game day sales, marketing, and game day events, I also did some corporate sponsorship activities in addition to my normal duties and was responsible for the media room and participated in on ice promotions as needed. Part of ticketing included reporting ticketing statistics to the league offices and handling thousands of dollars, as well as training my staff. I was responsible for hiring and firing the ticketing staff as well which included a minimum of three sales personnel and 6 to 10 game day staff.

I waited tables and bar tended while I was a full time student. Duties included customer service, set up and clean up before and after shifts. While bar tending I was also responsible for making sure all wait staff correctly accounted for their sales and also for meeting all Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission requirements for inventory and serving of alcohol.

I was the owner/operator for a riding stable whose services included: Boarding horses, giving riding lessons to children and adults, providing trail rides to the public, hosting play days and day camps as well as taking out overnight horseback camping trips. I was responsible for all aspects of the business to include finances, animal health and welfare, teaching, customer service, maintenance and marketing.

This was an amazing experience. I was an interrogator and strategic debriefer. The Army taught me four foreign languages and I lived overseas for six and a half years in Europe where I served three tours. I was the translator for the Minister of Defense of Bulgaria on our first military mission to that country after the wall came down. I was a Platoon Sergeant for more than a year and acting First Sergeant on several occasions. I was responsible for millions of dollars of military equipment and performed real world missions that resulted in diffusing bombs in the shipping lanes of the Middle East and many other classified objectives. I was a supervisor and trainer for most of my career and enjoyed the responsibilities of developing the soldiers assigned to me.
