AMARU is the space between community, industry and culture. Within that space, I am leading the creative output, building the brand identity and discovering Amsterdam South East through the lense of a creative.

During my time in this position, my main tasks have been building a website for the brand Aminata Cairo. Highlighting her new career in public speaking and training through a website but also to create a brand around the person, that represents her mission.

Of the multiple projects I have done with the Lectorate a few entail; web design, content creation, videography and graphic design. This role has exposed me to the different faces of content creation and brand development, allowing me to discover my strengths in each.

My role includes creating visuals for various digital outlets of Moja, including social media and their website. Furthermore, ideation over camping ideas and inclusive branding. Creating a strong brand image that can be translated between Netherlands and Tanzania. This role has taught me about the importance of building a strong brand awareness and image.

One Young World is about gathering leaders or innovators of tomorrow for a week of workshops, talks and networking events in order to help jump-start and exchange ideas. It is a place for young individuals to find a missing link in their environment and hopefully return home ready to create a change at every level.

OHOH INTRO is an introductory festival for students moving to The Hague. We organise an info market where students can find jobs, clubs, associations. Throughout the day we have live performances of art, dance and music form trending DJs. It is a great way to welcome an influx of new students and familiarise them to the local community.
