Al has designed and developed hardware and software systems & components, he has authored technical papers and presentations and presented at many technology industry venues and events. Al has over twenty five (25) years of supervising technical staff with fifteen (15) years of direct management experience. Al is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is able to read and write in both languages.Al worked for a defense contractor for over seven (7) years working on secret and commercial projects that included software test and hardware design for aircraft and support systems meeting military standards. Al worked for Compaq/HP for over twenty years (20) in various capacities developing, designing hardware and software and managing engineering teams responsible for product development and internal software development.Al worked for the Houston Food Bank as Director of IT for three 1/2 years.
