Hello! I’m Alkin.Currently working at Avatec Marine as a Radio and VDR Surveyor and Field Service Engineer, I bring a unique blend of technical and field expertise to the maritime industry. Alongside my current role, I am pursuing a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Cyber Security, driven by a strong interest in Data Science and Machine Learning.My career includes extensive experience in naval communication, navigation, and warfare systems, as well as key roles in the Turkish Navy and international operations. I served in the Operations Center of the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, where I contributed to mission-critical operations and supported multinational efforts to maintain security and stability. Additionally, I held positions as a Communication Systems Non-Commissioned Officer in the Communications Electronics Facilities Command and took on multiple roles on the TCG Goksu, TCG Bora and TCG Mızrak, including Senior Communication Systems NCO, Personnel NCO, Administrative NCO, and Custodian of Cryptographic and Communication Publications.With a solid foundation in both technical and operational skills, I am now focused on applying my expertise within the maritime field to ensure efficient communication, navigation, and safety systems. As I deepen my knowledge in Cyber Security, Data Science, and Machine Learning, my goal is to drive innovation and enhance operational efficiencies within the marine technology sector.
