I have been heavily involved in Supply Chain and Logistics operations with several multinational manufacturing and commercial companies over the last 25 years in Australia and Greece during which I have gained a lot of experience in the field and have grown to develop a good understanding for the grand picture as well as the fine details to running a successful operation.I am currently the Warehouse Manager for Castledex in Perth since my relocation to Western Australia in June 2024.My previous role was to analyse Tomkin’s supply chain and logistics strategy to understand current processes and productivity along with identifying gaps and resolving issues by developing appropriate strategic direction and planning. This is in addition to managing the warehouse operations for Tomkin Australia, handling over 7,000 SKUs related with the hospitality industry and housed in our 6,000m2 warehouse as well as two separate 3PL partners. Supervising a team of 30 staff in Administration, Pick/Packing, Inbound Stock and Replenishment.Previously I was responsible to plan, manage and coordinate logistics, warehousing, transportation and customer service activities for Vellex Transport Company who provides freight distribution and logistics solutions across the eastern states of Australia.Before that, at Frigoglass, I was responsible for the efficient running of all administrative tasks and logistics needs associated with the fast developing Oceania Sales Office, supporting the growth objectives and service needs of the commercial refrigeration market and the customers in the region.I was a Logistics Manager for Fencing during the Athens Summer Olympic Games of 2004 as well as for Sitting Volleyball and Wheelchair Fencing during the Paralympics, thereby gaining valuable experience in managing the logistics of sports events of a grand scale.Specialties: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Axapta, AS400, SAP and BaaN ERP systems, PC Microsoft Office excellence (word, excel, powerpoint, outlook).
