Created and led organization to connect Johns Hopkins Carey Business School students, alumni, faculty and staff with volunteer opportunities in our local and global communities. Built relationships with local service organizations and non-profit leaders.

Designed and instructed bi-weekly Spanish conversation sessions for 12 beginning Spanish language students. Drilled grammar, pronunciation, and vocabulary. Improved my command of the Spanish language and developed skills in teaching and presenting.

Developed and implemented demographic matrix of 225-member church population to improve logistics and event planning. Used as primary organization system. Advised a service component to the youth programs and selected service organizations. Designed and taught courses on mission, call, and ministry to youth and adults. Wrote and presented a sermon on mission and call to the congregation.

Led hundreds of American students on weeklong mission trips to Jamaica, Jacksonville, Mexico, New Orleans, Texas, Belize, and Nicaragua. Worked alongside local mission organizations in schools, on construction sites, on farms, and with youth. Translated Spanish and English, planned nightly programs for American students, and led teams of 10 students to accomplish manual labor projects.
