About Alla Malinenko

Does having a PhD always mean working in academia? I believe the answer is no. Working for 5 years in academia as a physical chemist, I focused on addressing fundamental questions which had already been studied for decades. After this enriching experience in the field of soft matter I seek a new challenge by making the most of my scientific background in a company where objectives are clear and have to be achieved in deadline restrictions in order for me to contribute to the production of technologies and products in high demand.Scientific skills:Synthesis and characterization of the soft matter systems (NMR, UV, IR, SAXS/WAXS, XPS, DLS/SLS, etc.) with an emphasis on self-assembly of amphiphiles molecules and supramolecular interactions including expertise in ion specific effects and adsorption properties. Regular data collection and analysis. Background in biochemistry.Interpersonal and communication skills:Accomplishment of the interdisciplinary project within the international team; oral talks at the seminars and international conferences; building the fruitful collaboration with colleagues and strategic partnership with the members of several world-leading scientific groups in our field (independent funding for visiting Rutgers University in the USA within the frames of the LabEx AMADEus).

Listed skills include Physical Chemistry, Research, Surfactants, Ion Specific Effects, and 24 others.
