Part-timer at St James Cavalier Centre for Creativity in Valletta, one of the most beautiful and well-restored buildings in the city. I handled event ticket sales, guest management, public relations with visitors, cash handling, email and telephone correspondence. I left my role at the end of 2017.

As Online Editor for www.sundaycircle.com I worked on the development of the project from its infancy stages and then maintained the editorial side of the website by uploading all generated content on a daily basis. I also sourced content, prepared original content and led a team of contributors and bloggers. I also managed the social media platforms of Sunday Circle.Network Publications is no longer in operation as the company was taken over by Allied Newspapers. Sunday Circle continues to be published under new management.

GFI Software is a global company that builds affordable and easy-to-use IT solutions that enable businesses to discover, manage and secure their networks. My role as Marketing/IT Copywriter involved researching and writing IT and software-related articles with particular attention to SEO; leading the company's presence on social media sites; project leader for the customer reference programme; proofreading marketing material; leading and contributing to company and IT blogs; other web marketing and public relations tasks.The role evolved due to the rise of social media marketing and I focused mainly on monitoring and updating GFI's presence on various social media platforms; preparing and executing social media plans; coordinating GFI's blogs and other social media marketing tasks.

EC has developed into a global brand that teaches English to over 40,000 students worldwide.I was the first Web Content Developer at EC which involved keeping the company website updated with news pertaining to the company as well as the destinations of EC Centres; creating content for new schools and programmes and uploading it to the site; co-ordinating the necessary site translations with freelancers; optimising the site for SEO; liaising with inter-company departments; compiling Internet metrics and conducting student focus groups.I began working at EC Language Centres in 2002 as a part-time summer Group Leader which involved looking out for the well-being of students who travelled to Malta to learn English as a Foreign Language. In 2003 I was promoted to Head Group Leader where I was based at the main school and handled transport arrangements and various other tasks, including participating in events organised for the students.In 2004 I was offered a full-time administrative role within the Academic Department where my duties included greeting students upon arrival and seeing to their academic needs throughout their stay. I was responsible for the applications for international examinations which involved liaising with local representatives, dealing with payments and keeping students informed. Weekly duties involved assisting teachers, liaising with inter-company departments, preparing student reports and certifications and other administrative tasks.
