Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development and Project DeliveryKey Achievements($128M) RMIT University – Sustainable Urban Precincts Project . Seconded as the HV and Cogen Technical Project Manager for the City Campus package. The project involved converting an entire city block of RMIT to a HV customer, by building new substations, which enabled the commissioning of the 3MW cogeneration plant. The successful delivery of the project required active and effective stakeholder management of RMIT, the Principal Contractor (Siemens), John Holland - Metro Early Works and CitiPower to achieve the required project timelines.

Key ResponsibilitiesThe operational performance and line management of the multidisciplinary team (20 people), including the operational sales, strategic planning and budgeting. Key Achievements• Developed the Industrial Strategy for Australia as part of the wider ANZ regional strategy• Managed the change management process following the merger for the immediate team and wider groups in operation centre.• ($400M) Webb Dock – Port of Melbourne upgrade project. Acted as the Independent Verifier for the entire electrical design for the upgrade works associated with the East and West Webb Dock site, to align with the Port of Melbourne Design Criteria. • Yarra Trams - Underground Asset Identification for Dial Before You Dig. Project Director for this on-going project. Provided the corporate governance associated with the delivery of Jacobs’ services for this project, including liaising with client and the renewal of contracts.• ($55M ) GDFS Suez -Hazelwood conveyor expansion project. Leader Electrical Engineer for the detailed design of HV system and overall Project Director of the multidisciplinary project • BHP’s Olympic Dam Investigative Phase Study for 235kt expansion. Delivered the study as Lead Electrical Engineer for the electrical design for the underground expansion including cost estimation.• ($80M) Ignite Energy – Advance Lignite Demonstration Project. Lead the bid management team, drawing together a number of stakeholders to develop the strategy, pricing and project delivery method, including facilitation of meetings and presentation to the client.

A number of Project Director and Bid Manager roles were successfully completed during this period. Key Achievements • Change management to successfully bring together 3 distinct teams (Water Engineering, Defence & Industrial) into one section (50+ people) following a major restructure in 2010. • Maintained utilisation across the section despite a tight and highly competitive market, where key clients like Melbourne Water had significantly reduced workload.• Interim Industrial Service Line Leader during February 2011 to July 2011 under new global Operating Model (100+ people), to establish system and develop strategy for business. • Developed the Industrial strategy for growth in Asia, drawing together the inputs from members of the SKM Board, Asian representatives and Service Line leaders.• Geelong Terminal Station Transformer Upgrades for SP AusNet. Appointed Project Director following the sudden illness of key staff to provide corporate governance. The role involved direct involvement in the coordination of the deliverables, facilitation of the construction and operability workshops and overall management of the successful project. • Biodiesel Project for MBD at Tarong Power Station (QLD). Provided hands on support as Project Director to the team and the venture capital client so that they were aware of the risks at each stage of the project. • Integration Manager responsible for the initial integration of a 12 person energy price forecasting company (MMA) into SKM. This line of business was unique to SKM. • Adelaide Light Rail Upgrade Project – SA Government. Acted as State Manager role to finish the AC / DC traction substation design, guide technical staff and manage stakeholders during the 2 month role for delivery of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Morphet Street tram substations.

Key Achievements • Created a viable business stream in industrial and mining engineering which brought new clients to the business such as Fosterville, Stawell and Ballarat Gold mines• Delivered on business plan to bring electrical projects back in house, achieved annual budget, profit and team growth• Ellsworth Street Zone Substation for Ballarat Goldfields. Provided on- site construction supervision for the construction of the 66/11KV substation for Ballarat Goldfields. The construction was brought back on schedule and completed without delay in expanding mine operations. • Successfully organised the Coffey Environment stand at Enviro ’08 conference in Melbourne, for the marketing of the engineering and wider services.
