An experienced senior leader and trainer from Policing in the UK and internationally, an event commander at some of the UK’s largest and most challenging events and very experienced in event planning, training management and delivery. A credible history of multi-agency working in operations where managing operational threat and risk and credible documented decision making were key elements of success. I believe that putting the right people with the right support, training and experience in place is the best basis for success, Although success is never guaranteed, you sometimes have to work within the confines of the situation you face and ensure you and your team is best placed to do the right thing.I remain committed to ensuring that we can all learn from the collective experience that we have gathered and capture and share the important lessons that can sometimes be lost along the way.
