This role involved teaching English to people of all ages and backgrounds. Therefore, having the ability to communicate well with people from all walks of life and having a high level of customer service provided me with a huge advantage. Classes included one-to-one and group classes. Students had a high range of English levels meaning the lessons had to.

This role involved working as part of a team, working towards strict deadlines, hand filling orders, operating machinery and general cleaning duties. I worked in this position full time at first and returned during holidays from my college and university studies.

As an ambassador for Bangor University, it was my responsibility to act as a point of contact for new and potential students. It was my role to give an honest and in depth insight into living in Bangor, offering guidance and advice on student life.

During the Open Day events I would guide prospective students and their families around campus, giving as much detail and information as possible whilst answering their questions.

Assisting a disabled parent in day to day life including, but not limited to, monitoring and taking medication, cooking, cleaning, bathing and shopping.

Working in one of the highest grossing stores in the North East provided constant challenge to meet order times and ensure customer satisfaction. I learned to cope well in a high pressured environment and the value of working as part of a team.

Duties included ordering and managing stock, ensuring customer satisfaction, supervising and training staff, keeping records and opening and closing the store.

Management position involving the supervision of a team of cashiers, managing their floats, banking, checking and replenishing ATMs and arcade machines and keeping strict records of all money coming into and going out of the park.

Working on the customer service desk, processing orders, returns and complaints, helping out in other departments as and when needed and also working as a secret shopper.
