He was a partner in the company that built the machinery - Ultra VioletSystems Pty Ltd, and a number of machines were sold throughout Australia. During 1980's,Allan designed a machine for the then CSIRO. This machine was used in the preliminary testingfor printing on plastics by the CSIRO to prove the viability of UV cured Inks for the currentplastic bank note system.Other areas of interest...Allan is married to Adela and has two daughters ­ Rebecca and Lara.

2011 - Currently a working Director and 25% shareholder; Allan has traveled extensively overseas for business development, as well as pleasure, and hasworked for short periods assisting in the development of printing machinery and UV equipmentin the following Countries...; Germany, England, Japan, Hong Kong, SingaporeAllan has written technical articles for trade magazines dealing with labels, or collaborated withpeople to produce documents related to Radio Frequency Identification Devices, Ultra Violet curing, curriculum for RMIT, as well as general training.In the past, Allan has lectured at RMIT (Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology/University) on Printing and Business, and the SEC (originally known as State Electricity Commission of Victoria)about Ultra Violet curing.Allan also teaches Letterpress Printing at the Firestation Print Studio in Armadale,Allan enjoys bicycle riding as relaxation & also reads a great deal.He has written 17 novels since 1992.
