Together with the CEO I was member of the Executive management. We were leading AaB, a listed company, and the most well-known brand in the Northern Part of Jutland. I was managing the football department including the academy. Furthermore, I was managing an extensive number of stakeholders with opposite goals, and I was the spokesperson in the media.In my time as a Sporting director we accomplished the following:- Conceptualization and development of the strategies "Fit for Fight" and "Nordkraften". - Conducting +100 contract negotiations with players, agents and clubs. - Danish Champion in 2014 with a mid-table budget: The fourth time in 135 years that the club won the Danish Championship- Cup winner in 2014: For the first time in 44 years we won the Cup Final- Champions League Play-off in 2014- Europa League group stages in 2014/15: Round of last 32- Conducting the biggest transfer in the club’s history in 2017- Top 3 in CIES ranking in 2018: 66% of playing time in our first team were played by club trained players. 16 out of 23 in today’s first team squad are club trained players.- Presenting a profit in the first 4 fiscal years as a sporting director- Establishing a state-of-the-art training center for our first team squad. Trusted political positions:- Represented AaB in "Divisionsforeningen"- Represented AaB in the European Club Association (ECA)- Been a member of ECA's Youth Working Group since 2016. Co-creator of the Youth Academy Study report (https://www.ecaeurope.com/media/4545/eca-youth-academy-study-condensed-version-2019.pdf)- Three-time Speaker at UEFA's Master for International Players. - Member of the "Divisionsforeningens Udviklingspulje" for past 5 years - Member of the DBU Committee for Professional Football. - Member of the steering committee of the National Football Center Denmark.- One out of a three-man team who were trusted to negotiate a new format for the Danish Super League.
