I have particular knowledge of Facility and Progresso which are products produced by Advanced Learning but, I believe, a lot of the skills gained from this system are easily transferable to other MIS systems. I also have a great deal of knowledge in the field of website production, design and maintenance particularly with the Joomla framework. I have worked with PHP, HTML5 and CSS and have a sound knowledge of the use of these technologies.

I have taught to GCSE in IT, Computing and Business Studies and have been involved in vocational aspects of IT delivering the OCR Nationals range of qualifications. I have been a head of department and been able to deliver good outcomes for the pupils in my care. I have always been keen to investigate and use IT to help with teaching and developed many of my courses on a VLE which I created and administered using the Moodle platform. I was also responsible for the design and production of the school website using Joomla as the main CMS. I am keen and always open to new ideas and ways of working and look forward to the next challenge to come my way.
