AK Industries manufactures underwater electrical connectors for very high pressure applications or severe service. We have a full range of capabilities from machining the connector shells and contacts to molding. Our facility is extremely modern with the latest equipment. Our product lines include our industry standard HydroVolt, and several specialized lines such as our Micro HydroVolt, Low Profile, and HeavyBOS. AK Industries is a small company with only 30 employees. However, we have a very large manufacturing space, 33,000 square feet in 2 buildings. Due to our size and the fact that we are not owned by a large corporation, we can design and build new custom products faster than anyone else that we know of. In fact, almost half of our business is special products custom designed for specific customer applications.

Built Burton's underwater connector sales from less than $0.5M to over $4.0M annually. Designed or conceptualized almost every new product during that time, e.g. the 1508s, 16-size series, and the many new high-voltage connectors.
