Having been involved in the petro chemical construction industry for 30 years Allan has a wealth of knowledge in fabrication and welding of ferrous and non ferrous materials,pipework fabrication, storage vessel manufacture, inspection, piping systems, plate heat exchangers and commissioning.At the age of 30yrs Allan moved into sales and was employed within the Ford Motor Company franchise, holding positions of Salesman and Business Manager. Within a few years He was approached by Porsche Glasgow to introduce a new finance lead sales system.Once this new system was producing healthy returns He moved on to become used car sales manager, managing over 1.5 million pounds of stock.By the end of Allan's first financial year in the position the used car department profit had increase by 27%.In 2007 He moved to McCallum Water Heating which is owned his older brother Gordon Mathieson, working together was the main motivation for the move.By the end of 2008 our sales had increase from 1.6 million in 2007 to 2.4 million.This increase in order intake was fueled by our interest in packaged plant rooms and renewable technologies.In 2015 McCallum Water Heating acquired the Scottish & North East Agency for Aquatech.In 2018 McCallum Water Heating acquired GMS Thermal Products.
