With almost 20 years experience in the Automotive world, I have been immersed in an ever evolving industry. While still at high school, I began my apprenticeship as an Automotive Electrician and after 12 years in that role, I pursued my dreams of transitioning from the repairs and maintenance field, to the world of design an manufacturing. Initially securing the role as electronic technician, I became an integral part of a diverse and proficient engineering team. Yet my role, like the industry was ever evolving. Over my 9 years at Continental I have acquired the knowledge and skills in a variety of areas, including equipment procurement and maintenance, auditing and calibration, and currently hold the position of Sample Shop Coordinator. Away from my professional life, I have always had a passion for Sport and Recreation, unfortunately, like so many others living the corporate life, I let my health deterioate. My sedentary lifestyle and poor nutrition lead to me being obese and unhappy. In early 2015 I finally made the decision to do something about it. Finding Ultimate You and Andy Andersons team redirected my life forever. Losing over 35kg's and rediscovering my passion for health and fitness, I knew that I had another calling. That passion coupled with my eagerness to help others, I pursued a position as a part time Personal Trainer. Helping others light thr fire inside them like Ultimate You did for me, has become my mission. Through health and fitness we can achieve amazing things. The confidence and clarity one gets when they are healthy in both body and mind, opens doors that seemed locked shut. My new career path brings me a joy I don't think I can achieve doing anything else, when you love something this much, you just know its meant to be.
