The World CanSat/Rocketry Championship is an approach at enabling global access to an international Competition where Africa has rarely featured. It allows creative and determined competitors from around the world, representing their nations (as university student Teams or as independent student Teams), to compete and possibly win at the highest levels of satellite engineering at a levelcomparable to their peers in other regions,.

Am a square peg who in 2010 surprised both the Government of Kenya's Education Ministry and Department of Defence by seeking support to design and develop a cubesat mission that would enable our nation commemorate her 50th independence anniversary in December 2013 having attained space- fairing status. I was 8 years ahead of everyone as even the national policy on space-tech was non-existent then and as a result I was never supported; despite numerous regulatory hurdles I contune to expend considerable effort to develop a vibrant civilian space ecosystem in collaboration with willing technology partners.

Was responsible for business environment scanning for new opportunities and introduced three international qualifications; CIPR-UK, CIPS-UK and MRS-UK all of which enabled the college gain perception as provider of global qualifications. Grew new student sign-up by an average of 30% year-on-year for the 5-year tenure I had here.

Worked as PA to Executive Director as a first point of contact in charge of managing Director's diaries and organizing meetings and appointments, providing administrative support on a one-to-one basis with focus on making suggestions in improving operational processes.

Was in charge of developing new revenue streams for the organization. I developed an outgrower approach to producing and exporting French Beans through the then-idle Eldoret Airport. I also developed a Jersey dairy cow replication and ownership program for women clients of the organization.

With Sequential Power Systems, I sensed a very early opportunity to provide household illumination by providing solar power access to rural areas where the national grid would only reach far-off into the future. We targeted elementary schoolteachers who then endorsed our services to the community. Our business model was based on spinning-off the rural distribution network to established players after 2-years.
