Allan Raimer is the Director of Engineering for the Dispenser and Systems division of ESCO, an engineering services and equipment provider for the polyurethane industry. He currently leads a team of engineers to create one-of-a-kind solutions for a wide variety of applications of reactive polymer products. Allan began his career in high school working for a startup polyurethane foam manufacturing company where he quickly became an expert in processing polyurethanes using both dynamic and impingement mixing equipment. Over the past thirty years he has held lead roles in product and process design, manufacturing, business development, and engineering, all of which have focused primarily on polyurethane products. His broad expertise in the polyurethane industry ranges from formulation and processing of integral skin, rigid, flexible, and elastomeric polyurethane materials in slabstock and molded products; mold release and coating application and selection; polyurethane tooling design and construction; meter-mix processor and manufacturing system design; as well as other industrial manufacturing disciplines.A Michigan native, Allan resides with his wife of 25 years, two college age children, and two high energy dogs on a small piece of family farmland a short distance from the city of Grand Rapids. As a lifelong learner, he has been driven to understand the why things are the way they are and desires to continually improve, grow and better the world around him. It is in this endeavour that he strives to live a life fulfilled, leaving nothing undone, full and complete.
