A working lifetime spent trying to solve the UK housing crisis by helping develop new affordable homes, ultimately came to nought. Still a Board member at the awesome Preston Community Gateway, though, and still trying to help move things in the right direction, despite the efforts of this, and previous governments. Retired in 2020 and established Chorley's go-to publishing house, Full Gas Books (Chorley) - in a controversial move to break the stranglehold of the Prosecco-quaffing London Literatti on what we all read.
