Experienced, dedicated, and exceptionally versatile Civil Engineer and Project Manager with 30-years of service in Public Works and Civil Engineering: 27-years with the City of Santa Monica's Public Works Department, and 3-years in the private sector including most recently with Psomas. Skilled in all aspects of public works engineering, project management, and construction. Managed several million dollars per year for the design and construction of public works projects within the City of Santa Monica, which included reservoir roof replacement, water main design, street improvements, bluff stabilization, infrastructure improvements, stormwater infiltration, stormwater pollution prevention, seismic upgrades, ARRA funded street improvements, street light conversions, street lighting assessment districts, and airport runway and parking lot maintenance. Currently managing construction of the innovative Fiber to the Premise (FTTP) project for the City of Beverly Hills with an anticipated build-out budget of $20M.Managed the City of Santa Monica’s first large-scale GIS conversion project (contract value of $500,000) resulting in the successful creation of sophisticated, data-rich, and visually engaging GIS layers for water, sewer, storm and street light utilities.Independently developed and implemented a web-based software called CIP Builder that has been in use by the City of Santa Monica since 2011 to create the City’s multi-year Capital Improvement Program (CIP) budget with an average value of over $100 million per year.
