DXS Referrals Direct (RD) has designed and built a leading-edge electronic healthcare directory system that allows healthcare service providers to promote their treatment options and services to both GPs and patients at precisely the time a referral decision needs to be made. It also assists general practitioners (GPs) and their patients to make informed, medically beneficial referral decisions. Our system is the first private initiative in the UK health sector to make effective use of real-time contextual promotion capabilities to deliver true marketing-to-demand at the GP’s desktop. Researching and developing the satellite-based Education-to-Home strategy and roll-out plan.

A start-up Internet platform company, where I merged nine small and medium entrepreneurial units with a total of 320 employees into a single organization. I then prepared the new entity for an IPO on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. This entailed: • Executive director responsibilities• Managing business sales agreements, company due diligences and valuations• Negotiating stock allocations to vendor companies• Overseeing legal, fiscal, regulatory and corporate governance compliances • Creating business strategy and integration process• Managing budgets and projections• Raising first and second round funding • Reporting to the Board and major shareholders• New product and business development initiatives.Under my direction as CEO, the company developed a wide range of Internet applications and integrated online business processes, including Wineways, the international online wine database-driven sales initiative.
