As a team lead, I have been running technical oversight for a team that has fluctuated between 4-8 developers over a period of 5 years. This has involved mentorship, code reviews, peer programming, regular remote communication to make sure project/feature trajectory is on course and ensuring everyone is supported. This sometimes requires jumping in the code if the team needs help, but the bulk of this role is spent in Jira, Runn, slack, GitHub and video chats. I was initially engaged to build a website for The Saturday Paper, an Australian newspaper launching in 2014. The website scope included: UX specification and artefact creation; User Interface Design in Illustrator and Photoshop; website setup in Drupal 7 and backend customisations in PHP; a fully responsive Front End in HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery.Further projects have spawned from there, mainly front end design and development for a range of websites.

Mercedes Benz Mobile website – NEC Professional Services (Jan. 2013 – Apr. 2013)Allan’s role on this project was to deliver the Front-end Interface for a dedicated mobile interface to the Pre-owned Vehicles section of the existing website. Working in Eclipse on a GWT Java based environment, Allan extended the UI using HTML, CSS3, and Javascript. The Project involved version tracking with GIT, and integration of the CSS Bootstrap framework.
