- Handling of all Risk related issues.- Engaging in all operations aspects.- Supervising day to day operations including responding to operations issues- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations.- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.- Being the first point of contact for Drivers - Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system.- Allocating loads to vehicles and route planning - Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met.- Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.- Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc). - liaising with transport companies, suppliers, and clients- Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.- Managing budgets- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation- Preparing investigation reports into incident, complaints, and disciplinary hearings- Ensuring the Company’s incident reporting process is followed, and ensuring Incident reports are completed in a timely manner.- Processing of and submitting all insurance claims- Investigate and determine causes of irregularities, including monitoring and follow up on all risk related reports.
