Part 145 and Part M Quality Assurance Manager

As the Quality Manager I provided the independent Quality function as required by EASA Part 145.A.65 and the monitoring of the continued compliance with EASA Part 145 and the company procedures. I was responsible for implementing a Quality audit programme in which all maintenance procedures carried out at STS UJet Interiors Ltd were reviewed at regular intervals. To deliver an effective quality system requires a fundamental understanding and recognition of the differences between Quality Assurance, Quality Control and Safety Management and who is responsible for delivering the various elements. I was responsible for preparing standard practices and procedures for use within the organisation, the documentation derived from approved sources and maintained up to date.I was responsible for ensuring the procedures were necessary effective and efficient, but just as important, was the understanding of these procedures by the workforce which included, where necessary, appropriate training and if required the management of competencies to ensure the staff were qualified.

As the Workshops Manager I was responsible for the day to day running of the Workshops, ensuring the co-ordination & control of facilities,material,data,quality & manpower for the work being performed. I was responsible for the development and implementation of strategic plans to increase efficiency and effectiveness within our business.
