About Dave Allan
Thirty years ago I set up What If with my great friend Matt Kingdom. We became a global innovation company. Lucky enough to work with some of the worlds greatest businesses. Helping shape their future. Both the products and businesses they create and as importantly the culture to drive success and sustain them. We created over $100 billion dollars of value and were twice voted the best place to work in the UK.Key to this success was our people. A tribe of smart, soulful, curious and energising souls, who made walking through the door each morning a total joy; and who taught me so much about business and life. For this I am forever grateful. After 30 years of What If, I am now at the beginning of a new adventure. Working with entrepreneurs, teams and investors who are excited about business being a force for good in the world. Dedicated to building a more collective version of capitalism, where the future of the planet and the people on it are more important than absolute profit. As has always been my passion, I will work with, and invest in, teams at the start of this journey However I do not want to do this alone. Over the next 5 years my goal is to build two communities. The first will be entrepreneurs and investors who share the goal of a more positive and collective capitalism. Then over time, the goal is to build a community of activist consumers, excited to build relationships with these businesses and others like them.
