Provided geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering technical solutions on multiple civil engineering related projects. Accomplishments include:* Senior geotechnical engineer of a team that designed an emergency solution to stabilize a 60 foot tall slope that failed during construction of a stream rehabilitation project. Did quality control review.* Completed quality assurance review and documented in-situ sediment stabilization with cement, and embankment improvements in a stormwater retention pond met strength and compaction requirements.* Designer of record for fast track sediment removal design projects in southeast and northeast Wisconsin using environmental bucket dredge techniques.* Senior geotechnical engineer for investigations, and design of cost effective landfill cover, environmental remediation, and shoreline stabilization at an industrial facility along a canal in central New York.* Prepared cost effective annual reports documenting the ongoing care and impact on groundwater of a closed landfill in Kansas.* Led preparation of a conceptual design and rough order of magnitude construction cost estimate for a 5 mile long sanitary wastewater force main. * Designed ponds lined with geomembrane to hold used deicing fluid for recycling at an airport in western Ohio.Served as Geotechnical Department Manager for a staff of 10 to 15 professionals for four years in the early 1990's.

Led project managers to thrill their clients and achieve target gross revenue and profit on each project in CH2M HILL's Superfund (RAC and RAC 2) Contract Portfolio with US EPA Region 5. The program was delivering over $20 Million a year in gross revenue during this period, with no substantive non-billable costs. Projects included studies, designs, and environmental remediation. Reviewed all proposed work plans and budgets for new projects and change orders to ensure scope, schedule and budget met client needs. Confirmed compliance with Procurement Integrity Act, and Truth in Negotiation Act rules. Coached and mentored project managers to successfully identify scope changes, and then manage client expectations to ensure client satisfaction, while adjusting budgets and schedules to accommodate the necessary project changes.
