I was able to continue my work as an insurance broker specializing in working with companies on their risk management programs. By focusing on mitigating or reducing the companies long-term cost of risk we were ultimately able to improve the overall profitability of their organization.

After being in the corporate world for 12 years, I decided it was time to start and own my own insurance brokerage company. By focusing on risk management services I was able to build it from the ground up. I was responsible for the firm's corporate and brokerage service operations as well as consulting with many of the firm's larger clients. In September of 2008, I successfully transitioned the agency and business into the Power Group/Truss family.

I provided property and casualty insurance program management, evaluation and related risk management services to a wealth of clients.
