Saved both the company and EEC computer industry a colossal amount of money (with duty removal) as well as IBM UK in particular with introduction of "off the shelf" concept. Also intridued the design for IBM's 2nd generation Mouse with subsequent huge savings, through collaboration with suppliers and deployment of SRM tactics.
