I have over 10 years experience working in program evaluation and policy development. Currently, I work as a Senior Policy, Planning, and Research Analyst with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (Government of Newfoundland and Labrador). My role has me working closely with key stakeholders in NL’s K-12 education system on a variety of projects, conducting qualitative and quantitative research to facilitate evidence based decision making and improvements to the province’s educational outcomes.When not at work, I am a long time volunteer with a variety of local organizations. I’m currently in my third year as President of Mile Zero Ultimate, a not-for-profit co-ed Ultimate Frisbee league in St. John’s, NL with 425+ members. Past experiences have included fundraising over $30,000 for Young Adult Cancer Canada and five years with the Canadian Evaluation Society - Newfoundland and Labrador Chapter.Competencies: program evaluation, survey design, data analysis, report writing, collaboration.
