I have more than 30 years of experience in Project Management, Program Management and General Management both in Denmark and internationally. The projects have been in organizational development, system development, change and transformation, technical facilities, automation and robot technology.In 1998, I became IPMA certified Senior Project Manager (IPMA level B) on the first certification round in Denmark. Since then, I have been involved in developing and operating the IPMA certification both in Denmark and internationally in parallel with my professional work as a Project Manager and General Manager.In January 2017, I was employed full time as Head of the IPMA Certification Body in Denmark. In my international work for IPMA, I have i.e., helped to develop the descriptions of the competencies used in the IPMA certification of Project Managers, Program Managers and Portfolio Managers (ICB2, ICB3 and ICB4). In addition, I was the Product Owner on the development of the IPMA certification of Consultants, Coaches and Trainers.In addition, I have participated in developing the IPMA certification globally through my work in the IPMA Certification Validation and Management Board (CVMB), where I have participated first as a team member for 2 years and since as Chairman of the CVMB for 3 years (2018-2020).I have participated in developing "PMA Registration of Training Programs, which assesses that external training courses within Project Management, Program Management and Portfolio Management deal with all the competencies that are tested during the IPMA certification process.In Denmark, I have i.e., been involved in developing the Danish tools that support the IPMA certification (NCB2 and NCB3) and most recently I have been the lead author of the book "Competences in Project Management" which supports ICB4. I was chairman of the Danish expert group that participated in the development of: - ISO 21500, Guidance on Project Management - ISO 21503 Guidance on Program Management - ISO 21504 Guidance on Portfolio Management
