I am responsible for creation and maintenance of group documents and drawings. I am also responsible for design and testing of group equipment. I am responsible for Kennedy Ground Control System Hardware development and testing. This testing incorporates the validation of customer requirements for future turnover. I am the Range Safety Local Software lead in charge of the creation of software requirements as well as the methodology for testing and validation of the software and its integration into a remote system and local system using HMI (Human Machine Interface) Allen Bradley Panel views. This is incorporated in the creation of both the Software requirements documentation as well as system test plans and the software maintenance documentation to use for operations support of the system before, during and after launches. I am one of the Controls Systems Development Laboratory administrators responsible for the support of 90 users in the lab who develop the local software for every system under the Kennedy Ground Control Systems umbrella. This work requires skilled engineering and program management skills to execute in a timely manner to meet milestones.
