My name is Allan Poot, an Anglo Dutch national living in Scotland. I’m an experienced senior executive, managing director and business development expert. Strong in relationship building, I'm also experienced in board governance and heading up the development of fundraising organisations in the charitable sector.I am privileged to be working for Mary’s Meals International – a charitable enterprise that feeds two and a half million children every day, at a place of learning, in the world’s poorest communities.I'm also an Enterprise Partner at Strathclyde University, mentor to start-ups and also MBA students at Glasgow University. I'm a co-founder of the social enterprise www.cityplot.org involved in urban farming and actively teaching children in local, underprivileged and refugee communities about organic inner city farming. I have managed a number of international corporate expansions into Europe, as Board member, Managing Director and General Manager, and I’ve started several enterprises myself.I have extensive global work and travel experience and a strong network of contacts.
