As a support technician I install, configure and maintain hardware and software across a wide range of devices and applications. I work with PC’s, laptops, thin clients, zero clients, printers, physical and virtual servers. I have experience with personal and corporate mobile devices including phones and tablets running multiple variations of different OS's. I also regularly assist the upper-level administrators with network and server issues. I work with daily system checks, backups, and Active Directory user accounts. I am also responsible for contributing to the creation and maintenance of documentation on departmental systems and their troubleshooting methodology.I work daily in a team environment. I have been responsible for new hire training beginning with the start of their employment through their ninety day probation, as well as completing their evaluations prior to permanent employment. I have experience with different forms of project management software and work order systems to regularly document workloads and inventory in order to ensure that user needs are met as efficiently as possible. I troubleshoot problems with third party system vendors on behalf of employees on a regular basis. I have also been involved with coordinating and implementing the IS portion of both department and user relocation as it relates to equipment moves, additions and changes.I have experience in providing technical support and customer service, both remotely and on-site, to many outlying hospital owned clinics and practices. I am part of a regular 7-day on-call rotation. I work with other members of the IT organization to ensure timely resolution of employee issues, including those of physicians and their practices, in an environment that can be highly stressful and demanding due to the time sensitive nature of patients needs. I was also involved in our facility’s April 2011 transition into the world of EMR's and our November 2014 early adoption upgrade of Meditech 6.

I was the sole maintainer of confidential archived healthcare information for multiple organization branches and sites during its HIPAA regulated lifespan. I received, stored, distributed and cataloged this information on a daily basis. I was also responsible for its destruction at the time of its lifespans expiration.

I worked to organize and assemble charts from several different aspects of patient care types. I dealt with physicians and their offices, nurses, patients and their families to be help ensure that received any and all pertinent information while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA privacy laws and regulations.
