Owner's representative who helped secure three new tenants during and immediately following covid by innovative deals structured to mutually benefit both the new tenants and the financial goals set by the CEO.* HUMAN RESOURCES: Earned the Society of Human Resource Management's Senior Certified Professional credential (SHRM-SCP) to help buttress my knowledge and experience in HR in 2016.

At the direction of the President & CEO I conducted an operational review of people and process. The resulting plan reorganized lines of reporting that: ** unlocked potential, ** streamlined communications and, ** strengthened the corporate culture.Allied with this operational audit I led an ongoing review of processes that improved efficiencies, reduced costs and improved the customer experience.During a process audit, I identified the potential for bringing print operations in-house. Oversaw creation and operation of a print production center with four-color printing, mail insertion, bulk-mailing, and binding services. Resulting print production center led to overall cost savings and, more importantly, a quicker turnaround of customer orders with nearly zero certificate package errors.

The Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) is an international not-for-profit corporation with 5,000 members and more than 60 chapters around the world. Each year SFPE hosts an annual conference featuring world-renowned certificate training programs and every three years an international conference bringing the best and brightest fire protection engineers (FPE) together for networking and helping expand the knowledge base for the FPE profession.During my tenure at SFPE I led a review of operations that began with an internal audit and generated a report with recommendations that was unanimously approved by the board. We enhanced the member experience and improved internal productivity. Changes and upgrades included a new association database and a new flagship website. I led a review and enhancement of membership processes that improved retention by 3% (year to year). We introduced several web 2.0 programs including a LinkedIn group that grew to more than 10.000 members in four years and added in a series of targeted webinars that brought our global audiences together to help further the society’s mission.

Oversaw development and delivery of the number one event for public private partnerships (PPP) in transportation infrastructure. Increased sponsorship and visibility of the program with new strategic industry partnerships and celebrated a key anniversary by developing a gala event recognizing the top contributors to PPPs over the past twenty-five years.Conceived and delivered a unique education program, The Transportation Management Institute , designed specifically for personnel engaged in heavy civil construction operations. Individual week-long seminar programs include The Project Management Academy, The Management Crucible for senior leadership and The P3 Scheduling Academy.

Rebuilt relations between the national association and the local chapter network after an internal schism created significant rancor. Enhanced delivery of key services and supported a significant expansion of federal grants for safety education.

After reviewing ground breaking research on the home building company success factors (from the Builder 20 Club program), led efforts to identify the key business practices that supported long-term business success.
