Formed in 2010 MicroTek has been at the forefront in the development of UltraViolet technologies for disinfection purposes with specific applications in the Food, Beverage and Health Care industries.The technology we manufacture is unique in that it uses microwaves to light electrodeless UV bulbs, as opposed to the more conventional UV technology that uses electroded bulbs and electronic ballast to produce UV light.This allows MicroTek products to disinfect and provide extended shelf life to opaque beverages, such as raw milk for example, something conventional UV systems cannot achieve.From our company base in Worcester, UK, we design, develop and co-ordinate the manufacture of advanced UV systems for a range of applications, from air treatment to surface and liquid disinfection.MicroTek operates on an international level and provides support to a growing global customer base with offices in China and the USA, incorporating an extensive network of manufacturers reps and distributors, and more recently, with representation in France and New Zealand.MicroTek not only provides UV systems, it also carries out research and develops products to meet the ever evolving requirements of our existing and potential customers.
