Leading the strategic financial planning and analysis process.

I oversaw the forecast, budget and analysis as the company grew revenue from $10M to $100M+ and employees from 150 to 500+ employees. I helped to implement Workday (accounting software), Adaptive (FP&A software) and Prism (data warehouse). I was invited to speak at Workday's annual conference about the implementation process and how we are leveraging the software to generate daily P&L based on call/transaction volume. Assisted with M&A that would transform the company's product delivery which significantly increased the gross margin.

I started Prosperity Analytics to provide FP&A solutions to start-up companies. The following are some examples for my work: Built 18-month financial model and investor presentation to obtain convertible debt and developed a customer adoption strategy for a startup technology company. Created 5-year scenario-based financial and valuation model in an effort to obtain funding in excess of $5 million.Developed an 18-month growth plan, expanded product offerings, improved cash flow, implemented recommendations to manage expenses, and identified strategic alliances. Conducted market, regulatory, customer adoption, and demographic analysis to assess the viability of innovative packaging solutions for a global beverage company seeking to gain market share. Developed the Research and Development department’s annual budget and monthly forecasts consisting of aggressive hiring plans to support both product and portfolio growth for technology companyCreated sophisticated Excel data models to identify the markets with the highest probability of successful introductions of new packaging strategies.Determined the target market and marketing strategy for client’s pipeline software products through competitive analysis of innovation management and product portfolio optimization software. Supported capital-raising measures targeted toward private investors through a detailed analysis of this early startup company’s intrinsic value, which included a 2-year, hypothetical financial plan and forecast. Developed a DCF model, conducted comparable company research, and evaluated customer lifetime value (LTV) through analysis of customer retention rate, the gross margin per customer, and the cost to acquire each customerManaged the acquisition P&L and assisted with the SAP financial implementation for medical device company.Created competitive analysis and financial models to support a medical device company’s S-1 offering.

Aside from traditional FP&A duties, I developed and lead the Resource Allocation Committee (RAC) to create a balanced portfolio of projects aligned with the company's long term goals. This committee identified and executed cost-saving and revenue-generating solutions. One revenue producing project from RAC was spun-out at a profit.

During my short time (position transferred to Gulfport, Mississippi due to corporate restructuring), I oversaw corporate finances for business units in the southeastern United States for this national ambulance company. I managed, developed, and implemented the business units’ $100 million annual budget, as well as created and analyzed financial statements and forecasts to identify inefficiencies and increase profitability.

Developed and enhanced complex financial models in Excel and Access (SQL and VBA) to inform strategic decisions for practice group growth, compensation and alternative billings. Analyzed business processes and system gaps, as well as the return on investment, to identify and implement new accounting financial management and business intelligence systems. The financial system that I helped to implement captured productivity and provided financial insight. This led to data-driven metrics and allowed the firm to make decisions regarding international expansion, controlled organic growth and divestiture of unprofitable business units.
