Allan is a Partner at KPMG and he co-leads the Bay Area Fintech and Financial Services practice. He specializes in fintechs including companies engaged in payments, lending, banking, digital currencies, card issuance, merchant acquirers, and payment processors. He also has extensive experience in serving large global financial institutions, regional and community banks, real estate investment trusts and investment funds. Allan has assisted clients with complex accounting and financial reporting issues, SEC and regulatory matters, and financial process controls. Allan has held a variety of leadership positions in growth and market development, resource management (including Diversity & Inclusion), UC Berkeley campus recruiting, and systems of quality control. He also serves as a performance manager and mentor for over a dozen professionals, with a focus on sponsorship and development of employees from underrepresented backgrounds. Allan is a licensed CPA (in both California and New York) and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Allan served as a member of KPMG’s national office (Department of Professional Practice) located in New York City where he assisted clients in a variety of technical topics and supported client engagement teams with technical guidance and inspection support. Allan also served as an instructor for firm and client trainings, served as a liaison for regulatory inspections, and participated in the firm’s national quality peer review program.
