Allegra graduated from York University with a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours), specializing in Marketing. Her passion for education ignited when she co-founded an overseas educational consultancy, Yes Study Education Group, with her university peers in Toronto, Canada. As the Regional Manager for Indonesia, she was responsible for devising and implementing strategic marketing and partnership plans to realize the company's vision, mission, and long-term objectives, ensuring Yes Study's success in Indonesia.In her role as Regional Manager, Allegra gained extensive experience in cultivating and managing professional relationships with stakeholders, leading teams, analyzing trends and opportunities, and overseeing projects and events.Allegra later pursued a Master of Business Administration at SBM ITB Jakarta, driven by her desire to expand her professional network and deepen her expertise in marketing. Following her MBA, she was awarded the prestigious Chevening Scholarship to attend University College London (UCL) for a Master's Degree in Educational Planning, Economics, and International Development during the 2022-2023 academic year. This experience enriched her understanding of global education systems, sustainable development, and education quality issues.Allegra also worked with Generation Global at the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change as the Southeast Asia Coordinator. This role provided her with insights into global citizenship education, the Sustainable Development Goals, and education quality issues within an international NGO setting.In addition to her professional achievements, Allegra is the founder of English Forward, a non-profit initiative offering free online English courses. She believes that English is a key to success in globalization, enabling communication across countries and cultures, and opening doors to educational and career opportunities for Indonesian youth.Currently, Allegra works as a University and Career Counselor, where she is dedicated to guiding students in navigating their educational and career paths. She is eager to continue leveraging her expertise in business, economics, and international education, along with her diverse experiences and high social empathy, in the field of education.
