Director of Engineering

• Directs network planning by analyzing facility locations, circuit availability and subscriber concentration.• Studies the requirements and system usage for switching, transmission, data networking, video, cable, and building facilities; identifying and analyzing trends in technology.• Provides for changing technology along with the Products and Services Manager by analyzing, evaluating and implementing new products and services.• Direct the engineering manager and outside plant manager in building efficient staffing, team member development and training, performance management, and policy enforcement.• Improves department efficiently by consistently evaluating methods and procedures; and making changes to reduce costs, improve productivity, and improve network equipment deployment response times.• 5-year network engineering strategic planning and budgeting.
