• As part of my degree I am undertaking a yearlong placement in the Treasury department at Travelport, winning a quarterly award whist on placement. My key responsibilities included:
• Driving effective and accurate daily cash management through optimising efficiencies, repatriating excess cash to Treasury and implementing and managing cash pooling arrangements.
• Prepared and enhanced weekly Treasury reports for the Chief Financial Officer.
• Responsible for executing all FX dealing and was a prominent team member in the $1.2 billion worth of interest rate swaps conducted. This included closing a deal for $200 million.
• Lead the weekly funding process for the companies entities, ensuring funds were delivered promptly and efficiently.
