I have thrived in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment where the mission is to create a business that is sustainable, enjoyable, and provide opportunities for those who seek it. Some of the keywords that are meaningful in that statement are "create" and "provide opportunities for those who seek it". I am a passionate learner and have created many opportunities and experiences to elevate my professional career. Some of my proudest accomplishments are: 1) Leading - I've led teams as large as 60-80 people across multiple areas of supply chain, establishing clear vision for business objectives while supporting employees personal and professional growth. Areas of management include: purchasing, warehouse, manufacturing, quality, safety, and logistics.2) Expanding Distribution Networks - I traveled to scope new warehouse locations and collaborated with the project team to execute everything from getting a lease signed, to purchasing equipment, racking and inventory, to hiring management and warehouse staff.3) Domestic and International Travel - I have traveled overseas multiple times where I was responsible for planning all travel and organizing and carrying out meeting agendas with suppliers. 4) Professional Development - communication is a key skill required in every role and I have had some of the best opportunities to improve how I communicate so my messages are received as intended. Two of the opportunities include being coached as a member of Vistage and the Corridor Business Journals Leadership Academy. To grow, it is important to be willing to try new strategies and own the success, and equally remember to fail fast. Learning and growing through failure requires humility and drive to keep going. Both of those values are very important to me. I love to be adventurous and try new things and learn from those around me. Celebrate the successes as a team and use the failures as new information for future strategy development.
