40 years ago, a farm boy from Idaho stumbled into the world of geotechnical engineering. Today, I own and lead a team of successful engineers and technicians at Inland Foundation Engineering. Since taking over Inland Foundation Engineering, I’ve had the opportunity to get familiar with the geology of the San Jacinto Valley. This familiarity has allowed our team the opportunity to manage many successful projects. Those projects include working with Riverside County to replace the aging sheriff station in Coachella Valley and replacing it with the John J. Benoit Detention Center, and working with the City of Hemet in their Hemet Elementary School Ground Improvement project. The Hemet Elementary School Ground Improvement project received the 2018 Outstanding Geotechnical Project from the American Society of Civil Engineers.The best part of the projects our team works on is that they become part of their legacy and are something their families can see and know we helped build. That’s what makes me proud to be a small business owner! Inland Foundation Engineering is more than a geotechnical firm, it’s a place for our engineers and technicians to make a difference in the way things are done on the job sites and in our community.
