- Responsible for a small group of data specialists which provides reporting and analytics support for activity-based funding and clinical costing data, as well as management of organisational data warehouse and business intelligence reporting platform.- Working with external vendor and Project team on a Business Intelligence uplift project: • Replacing legacy BI system with an agile, modern and scalable platform which includes business intelligence, advanced analytics, and data governance. • Creating a single source of truth with a new Data Lake/Warehouse with Power BI as new visualisation tool. • Establishing Master Data Management and Data Catalogue tools to improve data quality and management of data assets. • Initiated a new Data Literacy program as part of the change management with the aim of introducing key data concepts and pipelines as part of the transition to new BI platform.- Currently overseeing the implementation of REDCap, a free secure web-based data collection tool.

- Responsible for a multi-disciplinary team of Business Intelligence Developers, Data Assurance, Reporting & Analysis, and Data Scientist- Manage the measurement and reporting of key hospital performance measures using business intelligence tools such as Microsoft PowerBI - Work closely with the Western Health Executive and Divisional Directors to advise on opportunities to enhance hospital performance- Assists with provision of data for clinical research projects, service improvement and service planning- Perform regular analysis of patient activity based information to assist key stakeholders in their decision making process- Maintain data quality assurance monitoring processes through business rule validation and clinical audits- Supporting the implementation of machine learning and data science initiatives at Western Health

- Involved in performance analysis and reporting of clinical and financial data to key stakeholders, including clinical and non-clinical Directors and Executive Directors on an ad hoc and routine basis- Using an array of Business Intelligence software applications including PowerPivot (Microsoft Excel), Access, and SQL Server Management Studio to collate information for reporting- Assists in measurement and benchmarking of hospital key performance indicators in accordance to Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) statutory reporting requirements, and Policy and Funding Guidelines- Involved in activity target allocation for the Health Service, including WIES target, patient throughput and bed target model

- Management and support of cancer service improvement projects and initiatives at WCMICS Hospitals (Peter MacCallum, Royal Melbourne Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital, Royal Women’s Hospital, Western Hospital, and Werribee Mercy)- Coordinated the Western and Central Melbourne portion of the 4th Statewide Department of Health Multidisciplinary Meeting (MDM) Survey (2014)- Provide database support including Access database design and management - Provide secretariat support such as organizing tumour group clinical meetings
